Background :
The year 2010 marked 50th year anniversary for the Ajinomoto (Thailand) Co. Ltd., which started in year 1960. The company wanted to give back its profits to the Thai community and use this special anniversary occasion to celebrate with this program.

The agreement was signed between the Ajinomoto Foundation and the Ministry of Education to run this program for 5 years from 2010 to 2015. The foundation provided donations of 500,000 baht to each of the 50 selected schools. The agreement was signed at the Meeting Room Office of the Basic Education Commission, Ministry of Education, on 22nd April 2010 by Mr. Yutaga Kunimoro, Vice President of the foundation at that time, and Mr. Chinnavorn Boonyakiat, the Minister of Education at that time, with board of directors from both parties as witnesses.
