gave a donation to Ministry of Education to build homes for teachers, under the program “Improving Teachers’ Lives”


 

On 5th April 2016, the Ajinomoto Foundation, led by Mr. Suchart Naksawek, directory and secretary general of the foundation, with Mr. Suradet Tiapairat, director and vice secretary general, provided financial donation of 1,200,000 Baht to build homes for teachers under the program “Improving Teachers’ Lives” to Mr. Karun Sakolpradit, Secretary General of the Office of the Basic Education Commission, Ministry of Public Health and provided cashier checks of additional fund to 3 schools in need.

For this program, the Ajinomoto Foundation cooperated with the Center to Develop Royal Projects in accordance to King Rama 9’s vision at King Mongkut University of Technology Thonburi to explore areas and operate constructions. This donation will be used to build homes for teachers to support and inspire teachers who dedicate themselves to teach in rural areas. The new building will help separate classrooms from the teachers’ private rooms, so that the spaces can be fully utilized.
