Location

Date

Description

The scholarship program “Graduate with Ajinomoto Foundation’s Scholarship” continued for the 9th consecutive year. This program aimed at supporting the scholarship to the students who have good academic performance, but lack financial support for vocational college and bachelor degree students from the first year to the end of the academic year. This helped to ease the family financial burden as well as to give opportunities for students to study without financial worries. In 2014, there were 300 students, including 102 vocational college students with 15,000 baht/person/year and 198 bachelor students with 27,500 baht/person/year, totaling 7,000,000 baht.

The donation ceremony was held at the Rangsit Rangsan Army Club (Central), Vibhavadi on 10 March 2015. Mr. Asuhiro Takato, Vice President of the Foundation, the foundation’s board of directors, along with Natcha Chanathetwatana, Director of the Student Promotion and Development at the Office of the Higher Education Commission and Dr. Boonsong Champa Pho, Assistant Secretary General of the Vocational Education Commission, jointly awarded scholarships to the students. The ceremony was filled with pride and happiness from scholars, parents, teachers, and other attendants.
