The activity “Aji Volunteer: Dare To do Good” Year 2

The activity “Aji Volunteer: Dare To do Good” Year 2 under the concept “Aji Volunteer… Oh New Gazebo” on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at the Wat Rier Kang and Wat Bangrakum, Nakornlaung District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya was very well participated by more than 600 people, including Japanese executives, Ajinomoto staffs, affiliates, teachers, students, schools, and villagers in the community. The volunteers work hard without getting tired to help paint prayer hall, chanting hall, pavilions, temples including gardening and cleaning of the yard. This is an impressive and admirable image. The total cost of renovations was 1,000,000 baht.

In addition, the Ajinomoto Foundation also donated money to support the construction of a new library for Wat Kang Rier School with a budget of 300,000 baht. Mr. Yoichiro Tokachi, Vice President of the Foundation, Ajinomoto, was the representative to deliver the construction fund to Mr. Saksiri Supasuk, Director of Wat Rier Kang School.
