Wat Kok Chang School, Ongphra, Danchang District, Suphan Buri Province did not have any cafeteria. The school used the area in front of the classrooms as lunch space for students. Ajinomoto Foundation decided to support building of new cafeteria under the program “50 Years, 50 Schools”. The cafeteria construction was completed and officially opened on 20th November 2015. The opening was led M.R. Itomi Watanabe, Board Member of Treasurer of Ajinomoto Foundation, and Mr. Suchat Naksevok, Secretary General of Ajinomoto Foundation, to Mr. Veerasak Vichitsangsri, Vice Director of Primary Education Area Office Supanburi District 1 at that time. The donation to the construction totaled to the amount of 500,000 baht. The opening day was filled with excitement and appreciation from the students, parents, teachers, and villagers in the community to receive the new school cafeteria.
