Wat Phai Sam Koh School, Ban Pak Pong District, Ratchaburi Province received donation from the Ajinomoto Foundation to support building of new cafeteria under the program “50 Years 50 Schools”. The cafeteria construction was completed and officially opened on 21st August 2015. The opening was led by M.R. Itomi Watanabe, Board Member of Treasurer of Ajinomoto Foundation, and Mr. Suchat Naksevok, Secretary General of Ajinomoto Foundation, to Mr. Nuttapat Inton, Vice Director of Primary Education Area Office Ratchaburi District 2 at that time. The donation to the construction totaled to the amount of 500,000 baht.

In addition, the Ajinomoto Foundation organized volunteer activities where 30 employees from Ajinomoto (Thailand) Co. Ltd., prepared lunch for stidents, including “Japanese Curry and Fried Chicken.” This was under the Volunteer program “Aji-Volunteer, Happy when Kids Are Full”

The event was filled with excitement and appreciation from the students, parents, teachers, and villagers in the community to receive the new school cafeteria.
