On March 8-11, 2018, Ajinomoto Foundation organized the Nutrition Education and Training No. 6/FY2017 under the “Ajinomoto for Thais : Better Nutrition, Stronger Nation” Project, joined by the directors and teachers who in charge of school lunch program from needy schools in Southern region at The Flora May Resort Songkhla province and Food and Nutrition Department, Songkhla Vocational College
Ajinomoto Foundation led by Mr.Phichien Koosmith,Vice Chairman of Ajinomoto Foundation and Mr. Nattawat Ratki, Deputy Director of Songkhla Primary Education Office Area 1, presided over the opening ceremony and honored by Ms.Punnee Ponprachanuvut, representative of Institute of Nutrition, Mahidol University and Mrs.Aroonwan Atthatham,
representatiov from Faculty of Home Economics Technology, Rajamangala University
of Technology Thanyaburi, together with the teams from 2 universities to train the nutrition & cooking knowledge together with workshop activity. Ajinomoto Foundation aims for school personnel to continually apply knowledge for improving nutrition in students, including developing as a model school of nutrition for other neighbor schools afterward. Moreover, in the closing ceremony Ajinomoto Foundation honored by Dr.Sakarindr Bhumiratana, Chairman of Ajinomoto Foundation and Mr. Nattawat Ratki, Deputy Director of Songkhla Primary Education Office Area 1, delivered certificate and closing speech.
