On February 15-18, 2018, Ajinomoto Foundation organized the Nutrition Education and Training No. 5/FY2017 under the “Ajinomoto for Thais: Better Nutrition, Stronger Nation” Project, joined by the directors and teachers in charge of school lunch program from needy schools in central region at Sunee Grand and Convention Center Hotel Ubonratchathani province and Ubonratchathani Vocational College Department Food and Nutrition
Ajinomoto Foundation led by Mr. Suchart Narksavaek Director & Secretary-General of Ajinomoto Foundation. and Dr.Kowit Plernjit, Director of Ubonratchathani Primary Education Office Area 1, presided over the opening ceremony and honored by Assist. Prof. Dr. Kitti Sranacharoenpong, Deputy Director for Research and International Relations Institute of Nutrition Mahidol University and Assoc.Prof. Pongsak Songpranam, a teacher from Faculty of Home Economics Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi, together with the teams from 2 universities to train the nutrition & cooking in both knowledge and workshops. Ajinomoto Foundation aims for school personnel to continually apply knowledge for improving nutrition in students, including developing as a model school of nutrition for other neighbor schools afterward.
