Believe in yourself, believe you can and you will succeed.

How did you feel when you received scholarship from Ajinomoto Foundation?

For the past three years of scholarship, I received so many good things and opportunities, for example, visiting factories, interning at coffee manufacturer, and participating in leadership camp for professional work life preparation, etc. These were great opportunities to help me learn new things and improve my capabilities as well as getting to know new friends. In addition to receiving great support and care from the staff at the foundation it made me realize that it was not just about the amount of money or the material things you have but it was about the true giving of care and opportunities to us, which really made me feel that this is the “Ajinomoto Family”.

Having received a scholarship from Ajinomoto help reduce a lot of burden from my father and mother. This scholarship covered the entire semester tuition until graduation of bachelor degree. It also allowed me to reduce my part time work, so I could focus on academics more and had time to take care and tutor other students.

What do you want to tell Ajinomoto Foundation and other future scholars?

I would like to use this opportunity to thank the Ajinomoto Foundation for giving us such a wonderful educational opportunity and for supporting us with various activities. I want to thank all the staffs at the foundation for giving me advices, and thank to all the kind adults, and friends who taught me to know what it means to really give and to be a part of the Ajinomoto Family. To the other future Scholars I want to tell you to do well academically and do the best at your work as well as to make the most out of your experiences. And most importantly you have to be very appreciative and respectful of your father and mother who are the most important people in your life. I want to be a support for all of you in your academics and goals- go! And I hope those who really want to get scholarship will get scholarship as you hope for.
