The students of the Student Club of Faculty of Engineering King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok received support of 400,000 baht to visit and help construct a multi-purpose building size 11x11metres for Nimitmai Pier Cheevit Foundation, Mae Lao, Chiang Mai. This camp was held for the past 22th consecutive year. There were around 40 volunteers and the camp was held during 10-24 October 2012. The Board Members from J.C.C. Ajinomoto (Thailand) Co. Ltd. also participated in construction activities.
The construction completion ceremony was held on 24 October 2012, led by Mr. Pichien Coolsmith, Vice President of the foundation, to Ms. Sunee Sritawong, Director of the Nimitmai foundation. The atmosphere in the ceremony was warm and full of joy for the students, teachers, and villagers in the community attending the ceremony that day.
